Vision and Societal Impact

India is at a turning point in its demographic journey. With over 140 million citizens above the age of 60, promoting healthy aging is not just a priority—it’s a necessity. We are committed to addressing this challenge by conducting research tailored to the unique genetic, environmental, dietary, and socioeconomic factors of Indian communities.

Our goal is simple yet profound: to improve the quality of life for elderly Indians, particularly those from middle- and lower-income families who often lack access to specialized healthcare. By identifying key factors that influence healthy aging, our initiative will benefit millions of families across the nation.

Impact

BHARAT Study Framework:

At the heart of this initiative is the BHARAT Study Framework, India’s first comprehensive examination of aging patterns in our population. This research consists of two key components::

  • BHARAT Baseline Study: Building a foundational understanding of aging patterns specific to Indian populations.

  • BHARAT Path Disease Overlay Analysis: Mapping age-related health patterns to identify early warning signs and intervention opportunities. This approach ensures that solutions are effective, culturally appropriate, and cost-effective for addressing age-related conditions.
